Transform Africa Summit: Mozilla Top Official Expected in Kigali

Mozilla Corporation’s Chief Open Innovation Officer Katharina Bochert will attend the 5th Transform Africa Summit to be held in Kigali, Rwanda, organisers confirmed to KT Press.

“We are pleased to announce that Mozilla Corporation’s Chief Open Innovation Officer Katharina Bochert will be speaking at the 5th Transform Africa Summit to be held in Kigali, Rwanda,” Smart Africa Secretariat – the summit organizer confirmed in an email sent to KT Press.

The 5th Transform Africa Summit – a high-level tech summit on the continent, runs from 14th to 17th next month, and is expected to attract 4500 delegates including Heads of State and Government, Ministers with over 90 countries represented as well as International Speakers, Opinion Leaders and Exhibitors.

Mozilla Corporation is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Mozilla Foundation that coordinates and integrates the development of Internet-related applications such as the Firefox web browser, SeaMonkey Internet suite, and the Mozilla Thunderbird email client by a global community of open-source developers.

Meanwhile, world’s first humanlike robot – Sophia will also attend and speak at the 5th Transform Africa Summit (TAS) in Kigali.

Sophia is designed with its body shape built to resemble an actual human body.
