Thierry Hitimana(Middle)
Former Simba sports club’s Ass coach Hitimana Thierry has joined z league the Kinondoni Municipal of Council Football Club (KMC FC) on a one year renewable contract.
Hitimana was the head coach of Namungo FC before he was sacked by the club in November 2020.
He joined rival Simba Sports Club as assistant coach of French tactician Didier Gomes Da Rosa who resigned on 26th October 2021 following the club’s abysmal CAF Champions League campaign which saw them being knocked out by Botswana based Jwaneng Galaxy.
Hitimana replaces Habibu Kondo who was sacked a few day ago following the club’s poor performance.
His first assignment will be on Sunday 16th against Tanzania Prisons in NBC premier league. Currently, KMC sits on 12th position with 11 points, 18 points behind the table leader Young Africans who collected 29 points.
Hitimana, 40, was the deputy coach of the Rwanda national U-23 team in 2012 as well as Rayon Sports coach before taking over Bugesera FC as head coach in 2018.
