Rwanda National Carrier Rwandair has announced it will next week launch flights to Dakar, Senegal’s capital .
With effect from October 3, the Carrier announced it will fly to the West African country 3 times a week through Cotonou (Benin) and Abidjan in Ivory Coast.
Announcing the new route, Rwandair said on its twitter handle: “Dakar, the vibrant capital city of Senegal joins our fast growing network effective 3rd Oct 2017.”
This year, RwandAir started flights to Mumbai, Harare, London (Gatwick) and Brussels. Last month, the airline opened a new hub in Cotonou, Benin which will allow seamless connections to West and Central Africa.
The new route extends RwandAir’s network to twenty-six (26) destinations.
The new destination comes barely two months after RwandAir launched its regional hub in Benin to effectively serve Western and Central Africa.
Launched on August 1st, the regional hub will help RwandAir to serve 7 cities including; Abidjan, Brazzaville, Douala, Libreville, Conakry, Dakar and Bamako.
