Bank of Kigali Group PLC – Rwanda’s biggest Financial Institution in terms of assets, will tomorrow, October 24, announce its new executive members, the lender’s communication department revealed to KT Press through a WhatsApp message.

The new executive team will be announced at a press conference scheduled at the bank’s headquarters in the capital Kigali.

The lender – which registered a net profit of Rwf13.4 billion ($ 15.4 million) in the first half of 2018 – an increase of 17.8 per cent compared to the previous year’s first half, has been moving at a steady growth under the current executive team led by Dr. Diane Karusisi.

It is not yet clear who will be the lender’s next 6-person team at the helm, after the bank, on October 18, won rights from Rwanda capital market Authority and Rwanda Stock Exchange to raise additional Rwf60 billion capital from its existing shareholders by giving them chance to buy more shares.

With the rights, the Bank will issue Rwf 222.2 million new shares at Rw270 per share.
