Rwanda Names Squad for Afrocan Zone V Preliminaries

Kami Kabange is among players summoned for the AFROCAN Zone V preliminaries which will be staged in Uganda

Rwanda Basketball Federation (FERWABA) has named a 16-man local squad to start preparations for the upcoming AFROCAN Zone V preliminaries which will be held from June 26 to July 1 in Kampala, Uganda.

Serbian coach Vladimir Bosnjak is taking the squad in intensive preparations which will wind up on May 22 and the second phase of preparations will resume on June 11 after the scheduled Genocide Memorial Tournament.

The summoned players include:

Point Guards: Iyakaremye Emmanuel (APR BBC), Kubwimana Kazingufu Ali (REG BBC), Turatsinze Olivier (Espoir BBC) and Nshobozwabyosenumukiza JJ Wilson (REG BBC)

Guards and Forwards: Niyonkuru Pascal (APR BBC), Irutingabo Fiston (IPRC Kigali), Ndizeye Dieudonne (Patriots BBC), Hagumintwari steven (Patriots BBC), Kazeneza Emile Gallois (Espoir BBC)

Power Forwards: Shyaka Olivier (REG BBC), Habineza Shaffi (Espoir BBC) and Ruzigande Ally (Patriots BBC).

Center: Kami Kabange Milambwe (REG BBC), Mutabaruka Victor (IPRC Kigali) and Kaje Elie (REG BBC).
