President Paul Kagame and Commander-in-Chief of the Rwanda Defence Force (RDF) has promoted over 2,000 junior officers.
A statement issued by RDF Tuesday, March 28, 2023 stated that those promoted include 1,119 lieutenants who were promoted to the rank of captain and 1,311 second lieutenants promoted to the rank of lieutenant, with immediate effect.
