Kigali Arena: A New State-of-the-Art Building Is Here

First came Kigali Convention Centre and Radisson Blu, and Kigali Heights and way earlier, Kigali City Tower a couple of years ago.

Another beautiful edifice – Kigali Arena indoor stadium which kicked off in January this year is expected to be inaugurated at the beginning of next month.

The 10,000-seat facility located next to Amahoro National Stadium is multi-purpose for indoor games.

Kigali Arena will host the 2021 FIBA Africa Basketball Championships (Afrobasket) and the 2019 FIBA Africa Under-16 Championship for girls, in August this year.

The project is a joint venture between the Government and Turkish investment company, Summa which operates in 14 countries across the world.
