Bugesera FC Part Ways with Abdu Mbarushimana On ‘Mutual Consent’

An official statement released by the Eastern based Bugesera Football Club, the team has parted ways on mutual consent with tactician Abdu Mbarushimana who had two years remaining on his contract.

The termination of the contract follows poro performance of the team.

Abdu joined the club in may 15th 2020 from AS Muhanga and signed a two years contract. After his successful start, the club decided to renew his contract and he signed another one to keep him in the club until the summer of 2024.

Abdu coached 12 league games this season with Bugesera FC only winning two games, drawing 5 and loosing five others.

After seeing Mbarushimana off, Bugesera FC appointef immediately the new head coach Ethienne Ndayiragije.

Burundian born and former Tanzania national team, Vitalo and Kiyovu Sports coach was appointed after rumours that linked him to Ngoma based club  Etoile de l’Est.

His first assignment will be on Wednesday as Bugesera welcomes AS Kigali on 13th day of the league.

Currently Bugesera FC sits  on 12th position with only 11 points.
